Weekend Reading / 2

TGIF, friends! Even though it was a short work week, i've managed to keep my to-do list short, prepare dinner twice, and draft next week's blog posts. (IKR?! Who am I?) Jess and I were chatting on Instagram about how challenging it is to make time for the things you love when you work full time and need to adult. But we both agreed that when you have so much passion for something, you'll find time to work on it. That's exactly how I feel with this blog space. I know I always say this, but thank you so much to my family, friends, and readers that continue to encourage and support my passions 😍  The world needs more positive people like you all. - Jessika

Just discovered Stowaway from Annie's blog post here. I rarely ever finish an entire makeup product so this line totes make sense. (And everything is travel sized ... my weakness!)

I've been searching for the perfect summer perfume since I finished my favorite, Roses de Chloe. I love light, floral scents - like Marc Jacobs Daisy - but am always open to trying something new. Any recommendations?

I've also been on the hunt for a bold summer lip and i'm kind of digging BitterSweet from the new Urban Decay Vice lipstick line. It would look sooo good with a deep berry liner, too. 😍

I also really like this lipstick that Ashley is wearing in this post. S'cuuute!

Marianna recently blogged about being an ambivert which lead me to taking a Myer-Brigg's personality test. The results? I'm an ESFJ meaning: I do my best work when I feel like i'm appreciated, I like taking care of others, and I'm extremely organized in all aspects of life (we're talking plans on plans on life plans, people). The explanation names celebrity ESFJ types and Monica from Friends is one of them (funny story, I disliked her character sooo much - ask Angel. Now it all make sense πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜…) Have you taken a personality test before? What type are you?

Scroll down to number two in this post and drool over this amaaazing cake batter croissant (wuuut!) from Union Fare. Brb, needs to go to NYC right now.

Made this garlic lovers' spaghetti for dinner last night. This was my first time cooking with wine so this dish took me from basic to bombass in 25 minutes πŸ˜‚

Hanging onto every tip from this post. Need to do more of these (even though I've been living in the same city for over 10 years!
