July Faves! Beauty, Fashion & Planner Things
Hi guys! I can't believe it's August (the best month because it's my birthday month 😉). And in true blogger fashion ... 2016 is just flying by!
Today i'll be sharing with you my July Favorites featuring a few beauty, fashion, and planner things. What were your favorites for the month of July? Share with us in the comments below!
Tatcha Balanced Pore Perfecting Water Gel: I am absolutely living for this moisturizer from Tatcha. I picked it up almost a month ago and cannot live without it. I've already taken it traveling with me (super travel friendly 👍🏽) and I basically recommend it to everyone (even you guys!)
At first I wasn't totally crazy about it. A $68 moisturizer 😱 um, no thank you. But I heard so many great things about it that I bought it after I ran out of my other moisturizer.
Tip: I read a few reviews before buying it and saw that a lot of people with oily skin types were upset of it leaving their skin either too oily or sticky. This is only the case if you use too much. I was using two pumps for a while before I realized that my skin was looking too slick with and without makeup. One pump is waaay more than enough to cover your face and neck. If you have oily skin, you'll probs love this moisturizer. Glowy skin without looking oily? #YESPLS!
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask: If you follow me on Snapchat (username: jessmahina) you've probably seen me in this mask a few times. I like to use it on my cheeks, nose, and chin and then wash it off using a hot wash cloth. Bye, bye pores!
AEO Hi-Rise Festival Shortie: This is the first pair of jean shorts i've owned since I was 12. I hate jorts, but I needed this one because it was cute and I could fit it and I felt great about that. I'm chubby and muscular (chubscular? mubby? lol ... ) so it was a real accomplishment to look good in a pair of jorts like this. (PS it's on sale right now!)
I am having a slight obsession with planer things (stickers, pens, paper clips, etc. 😭) Earlier this year I invested in an A5 Day Designer and hadn't been giving it much love until I saw my sister's planner and desk space (of course it is decked out). Now i'm all inspired and have been buying more things to decorate my planner and desk space at work. Shout out to my mom for starting me off with super cute paper clip book markers. Go follow her craft page on Instagram! (Thanks to my sister too for giving me a set of stickers. You guys have seriously created a planner monster 😋)
